I have had the experience of dealing with a previous generator service provider that provided a shoddy installation and poor service. I believe that my current Generac generator will work fine due to the superior installation and continuing service provided by Super K Electric.
It’s not really all about the equipment, but rather the people who keep it in top condition for those of us who don’t know much about the inner workings of the whole system. So I would suggest that anyone considering an investment of this magnitude concern themselves with finding the best people. They will suggest the proper size and make of the generator. I have been using Super K for 7 years for general Electrical work. I had an old Generac system that kept breaking down during Irene. Kevin (the owner) showed up in the middle of the storm and fixed it.
Shortly after Irene, we installed a 36KW system at his suggestion. It has run flawlessly ever since. They are a top-notch organization that I have now recommended to many other home owners who have decided to use SuperK for their generator needs. Well done guys.
